All those years, all that searching, and Nirvana turns out to be an aerodynamic bicycle helmet. However, if we sidestep the grandiose name and the many serene delights it suggests, we’re left with a more prosaic offering: the fastest aero bike helmet in its class, according to Kask’s testing. We don’t know which helmets it was tested against, but Kask reports that Nirvana offers a 35% reduction in aerodynamic drag and a 19% increase in ventilation compared to its closest competitors. And with stats like that, they won’t be close for very long.
Away from the aero angle, the Nirvana is a very breathable helmet furnished with neat details like an integral eyewear port. Like its stablemate, Elemento, Nirvana features Kask’s proprietary Multipod 3D-printed internal padding, strengthening the helmet against linear and rotational impacts. Likewise, Nirvana utilizes Kask’s proven OCTOFIT+ retention system, providing a finely tuned fit for enhanced safety and stability.
